HoneyBlush Studios [26 Apr 2009|08:57pm]

milkhoneyblush
[ mood | bouncy ]

Hey there everyone!

I just started my own studio called HoneyBlush (not to be confused with Hard Blush...I am not associated with them), and am now looking to fill my page with commissions! Visit my LJ page to see some of my best work. I must warn you though my page is definitely NSFW. I deal mostly in adult works, purely because they are the most entertaining to draw. Who new pron could be so funny! I do my best to draw quality works whether they're porn or not.

Anyways, all my comission info is under the cut. Hope to make friends with lots of you!

AnthroSketchExchange: Sketching in Conservation 2009 [29 Jan 2009|05:18pm]

sketch_mods

In 2008 anthrosketchxch together with support from some of the furry art community banded together and participated to help us raise money for Amphibian conservation. This year, we're repeating the project. In 2009 AnthroSketchXch will be sketching in conservation to help raise money for the Sea World and Busch Gardens Conservation Fund. For more than 40 years, the Anheuser-Busch Adventure Parks have initiated and supported wildlife conservation, research and education efforts at home and around the world. With the introduction of this new private foundation fund, they hope these efforts will rise to unprecedented levels.

Participants in this year's conservation round are being asked to donate a minimum of $5 to the SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Conservation Fund. However, we ask that anyone who see this and can help also send a donation as well. $5 might not seem like much, but when you have 50 people or more donating.. it starts to add up.

A critical part of the Anheuser-Busch Adventure Parks' environmental commitment is the SeaWorld/Busch Gardens Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Program. Through this program, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens devote around-the-clock, behind-the-scenes and across-the-globe resources and technology to rescue, treat, shelter and release many species of stranded, sick and injured animals. The Anheuser-Busch Adventure Parks rescue, rehabilitate and release more animals than any other organization in the world. Since 1970, the parks have rescued more than 13,000 animals, including several endangered and threatened species - that averages out to about one animal rescue every day for the past 34 years. The main objective of the Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation Program is to return rehabilitated animals to the wild.

(if you're a paypal only type person, we're asking those people to make donations to the Cheetah Conservation Fund here- http://www.cheetah.org/?nd=donate )

Markers for Art [27 Jan 2009|08:37pm]

alpha_orionis_v
If this is not allowed, let me know.

I don't often do this, but I need markers dearly. Many of mine are going kaput, and in order to keep doing arts, I figured I'd try something out, here.

I'm offering commissions of your character at no monetary cost. Instead, I'm offering to draw your character for Prismacolor markers. Any and all colours (though, I do seem to eat through the grey ones rather quickly).

This is going to be completely on a barter system, so what you get depends on what you're able to offer. Note me here or on FA (zeddish) if you're interested!

Half-Off Commissions!!! [02 Oct 2008|12:13pm]

inaliwhitewolf
[ mood | artistic ]

I decided since I need to raise such a small amount of money ($400... it was $300, but I remembered another bill I forgot about) that I'd offer some half-price commissions. :)

High-detailed digital art w/ full background - Normally $200... I'll sell for $100.
Example: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1497023/

High-detailed digital art w/ minimal background - Normally $150... I'll sell for $75!
Example: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1419823/

Airbrushed style w/ full background - Normally $100... I'll sell for $50.
Example: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1512674/ (just imagine with an actual full background... that example actually has a minimal background)

PayPal only. Must pay in full immediately, not when I start your commission. (since it's for a bill I have to pay in a few days. :) I've never abandoned a commissioner and ran off with their money, but I can understand that it makes some people feel uncomfortable, which I understand!). Commissions will be started in January/February.

Any takers? :)

Moving Across the Country! Two Ladder Auctions!!! [01 Oct 2008|09:29am]

inaliwhitewolf
[ mood | artistic ]

I got the fantastic news yesterday that my family and I got the house we were dreaming of, which is a large farmhouse in the Indiana countryside. We were told we could move in whenever we want, so now I just have to orchestrate moving plans with my family. I currently live in Florida, and moving across the country is going to be very hard.

On Friday, I have to send the deposit on the house, which I can send from my paycheck. However, that will take my entire paycheck, as I had to take a few days off last week to help my mom when she was ill, so my check is smaller than normal. That means I can't pay my final Verizon bill, which includes my internet, phone, and television service. Now, I don't necessarily care too much about the TV, but I have to have phone service to keep in touch with family about the move, and I have to have my internet as I work from home. Fortunately, I only need to raise $300 or so to pay off my final Verizon bill to guarantee I will have service this month. :)

I have posted two ladder auctions. I have posted these in the mature category as I am willing to pretty much draw anything. I'm normally just a PG-17 artist (for tasteful nudity), but since I am desperate, I will pretty much draw whatever you want. These auctions will only last for three days (2-1/2 days now). My bill is due in a few days, so these auctions will close soon!

I can draw any species and have been experienced with commissions since 2002. Whereas I am a slower artist, as it takes *forever* to paint realistic commissions and I prefer to do a good job instead of rush a commission, I do have great customer service. I am in demand and I am booked, but I am offering to begin the commissions in January/February. That's a free deadline I am offering, and I normally charge extra for deadlines. :) Again, any species, any rating... I'll draw it! :)

SKETCHBOOK RAFFLE - NOW WITH MORE ARTIST [20 Apr 2008|11:09am]

justblieve
Ok, so I am moving halfway across the country in one month and I could use some help with stuff. I can't offer to take commissions at this point, or I would. I still owe a few and I'm just too busy. I have one month left to finish packing, finish all the t-shirt designs I'm doing for work, and to do as much work on the internet marketing stuff as I can to make extra money there.

I've seen other people do this lately and I've toyed with the idea myself. What I can do at this point in time, is a raffle for a sketchbook comission. Now, I've heard from a lot of people that sketchbooks commissions are bad and not to take them.. so what I'm going to do; I will draw x number of pages of your character(s)/whatever you want and x number of pages of just things (most likely animals. I will definately take input on what sort of species you like!) I want to draw. This way I don't get bored doing a whole sketchbook of one character. I can't even draw a sketchbook of my character alone :| And it would be something I can do anywhere and would be good practice as I've been wanting to get back into the habit of just sketching. I will not give a timeline on this. You're only paying for the price of a ticket, which is nothing for what you're getting.. so I'm hoping you won't complain. I promise I won't take 50 years. I'd like to tell you I'll have it done by this time next year. I don't know if that's optimistic or not. Sometimes when I have good ideas and everything I can draw fast and draw more. Sometimes it takes a while for inspiration to come and I'm slower. But I will give you updates and be upfront about how much is finished and let you see progress if you want.

At the moment, tickets are $10. For every multiple of 10 you donate, you'll get that many more tickets. I know most people are having hard times right now. Gas is ridiculous, food prices are going up as a result, and more people owed taxes it sounds like then usual so because of this I might drop them down to $5. If that's the case, anyone who's already donated $10 will now be in for 2 tickets. And if you give over so much, I will contact you and we'll talk about colored art in your future either way.

When you enter, I'll add you to a list and have roy56 or someone draw a name before we leave so that I can do some sketches while we're driving cause it's gonna be a 32 hour drive or so. I'll leave this open til the 11th or 12th of May, that way I can transfer funds a few days before we leave and get references and stuff. I will do x-rated images, but will not draw things that gross me out or make me uncomfortable such as certain "unusual" fetishes.

My art can be seen here- http://us.vclart.net/vcl/Artists/MalaikaWolfcat/ or at http://malaikawolfcat.deviantart.com

In an effort the help out, some of my friends have offered to donate sketches. Now, as a bonus you will be receiving a sketch commission from:

Armaina ( http://armaina.deviantart.com/ )
Nambroth ( http://nambroth.deviantart.com/ )
chlorophyta/NevarRaven ( http://jenikaart.com/ )
Dreamaria ( http://dreamaria.deviantart.com/ )
Makani ( http://makani.deviantart.com/ )
ToastyTook ( http://toastytook.deviantart.com/ ) and
Thrivis ( http://thrivis.deviantart.com/ )

These will come either in the form of sketches in the book, loose pages inserted in the book, or a CD that I will compile and include.

Now, what I would like to know how many people are interested in this, as if it's only a few it's not really going to be worth it by the time you add up purchasing a sketchbook, shipping it, and the work going in to it. So if you would be interested in entering, please comment and let me know. And if you're an artist who would like to help out by donating sketches, please e-mail me at malaikawolfcat @ yahoo . com.

So please guys, help a wolfkitty be with her snowkitty if you can <3 I would not be doing this if I didn't need to and it will probably be the last commission I do for a long while.. so take the chance to get a lot of art for practically nothing while you can. $10 is the price I usually charge for one sketch and you're gonna get a whole book. Who knows, maybe I can convince some other people to draw in it to when I see them.

If you have any questions or anything, feel free to e-mail me and please pass this around if you can!

Thank you!

<3Mala

Furry Ladder Auction [08 Mar 2008|07:16pm]

My buddy Priest22 suggested that I do a ladder commission, which I agree is a pretty cool idea. I've never done one before, so I thought I'd try it out. :) I'll be starting these ladder commissions at the beginning of May after I get my March/April deadlines done, and I'll be working on the ladder commissions in between of current commissions on my queue, so no worries if you're on my list waiting, I'm not abandoning you guys. :D Plus, I want to move you all off my queue and quick. :)

So, if anyone is interested, here's the link. :D This might end up being pretty fun seeing how high the auction goes!
